The Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), published on March 4th by the European Commission, promised to mark a turning point for European clean industry, by introducing ‘Made in Europe’ requirements to access public support, accelerating the scale-up of EU clean technologies. However, in its current form, the IAA would fail to support the growth of a competitive European electrolyser industry.
